The Blaxton Brothers founded SkiMo's as the result of their desire to offer their guest a quality product with great value in a fun/friendly atmosphere. 

This is the first SkiMo's in the Memphis greater area, a Start up restaurant featuring a brick oven, open kitchen, and bar. 

Born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the Blaxton Brothers moved throughout the Southeast Region managing with different restaurant companies. 

Mark Blaxton started working in the hospitality field at the young age of 18 at Western Sizzlin, in 1990 Bennigans and in 1996 moved to Collierville with Barnhill's as the General Manager worked his way up to Regional Director.

Phillip Blaxton followed his brothers hospitality steps at the age of 20 with Western Sizzlin, in 1990 Ruby Tuesday and in 1995 Barnhill's climbing the ladder to Regional Director.

Mark & Phillip credit Steve Barnhill for teaching them the basics of the business and the true start in the hospitality industry.
